Dora Vanette – SVA MA Design Research

Dora Vanette is a New York-based architecture and design historian and writer. Her research focuses on modernist design in Central and Eastern Europe and theories of domestic interior design. She has developed courses, lectures, and materials for museums, schools, and design organizations including Parsons School of Design, Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb, Croatia, and Be Original Americas. She is the managing editor of the journal Plot(s). Her writing has appeared in several art and design publications, including Dwell, Metropolis, and A Women’s Thing, as well as in numerous exhibition catalogues.
