Andrew is a part-time architect working in London. Raised in the Bailiwick of Jersey, he holds a Bachelor of Architecture from The University of Liverpool. During his undergraduate study he spent a year in Suzhou China, and his thesis project City in the Void, Void in the City was nominated for an RIBA Presidents medal. Central to his work is contradiction, its relationship to architecture and the human condition. Dreaming of visiting New York since first picking up Delirious New York, the SVA summer residency offered the perfect opportunity to really experience living in the city. He hopes to refine his writing while gaining the necessary expertise in order to prepare for a research position when returning to education.
