Emily Lin – SVA MA Design Research

Emily Lin holds a BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design. Upon graduating, she has designed for various organizations such as Metropolis Magazine, San Diego Museum of Man (an anthropology museum) and Bruce Mau Design. More recently, she was the Assistant Art Director for GOOD Magazine and Media where she enjoyed being able to create visual solutions and forms for fascinating stories.

She is determined to always put as much devotion into the writing and thinking as well as the making of design. Therefore, she is excited to join SVA’s Summer Intensive in order to help her develop new research methodologies and sharpen her writing skills.
