Our graduates have gone on to pursue research-related careers in publishing, education, museums, institutes, design practice, entrepreneurship, & more.3

Lila Allen – SVA MA Design Research

Lila Allen is a writer and researcher focusing on areas of art and design. Engaged in a range of creative production, Lila has worked for creative institutions including Rockwell Group, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Camron PR, and Charlotte’s Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, among others. She is the recipient of the 2016 Monotype Award for Excellence in Design Criticism and the Paula Rhodes Memorial Award.
