devoted to the study of design, its contexts & consequences.
Our graduates have gone on to pursue research-related careers in publishing, education, museums, institutes, design practice, entrepreneurship, & more.3

Mark Dudlik – SVA MA Design Research

Mark Dudlik is a writer, designer, artist, and educator. He is the director of operations for the Masters in Branding program at the School of Visual Arts and the executive director of Lost Creature, a non-profit organization focused on culture and design. He is also co-founder of and advisor to the Chicago Design Museum, a pop-up museum that aims to strengthen design culture and build community through dynamic experiences. Before moving to New York, he was the founder of Phoenix Design Week and other community projects aimed at bridging culture and creativity. His work has been featured in Print magazine and other publications.
