Sara O’Dea – SVA MA Design Research

Sara O’Dea works as an Art Director at Adobe in San Francisco. Her role involves evolving the look and feel of Photoshop and other creative apps through identity systems, campaign work,
and creative assets that flow through Adobe’s products and marketing.

She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communications from the Limerick School of Art and Design in Ireland and continued her education with a Post-Graduate Degree in Digital Media and Marketing. She has won a UNESCO design award and had her work exhibited in the Bauhaus museum.

This course offers her the perfect opportunity to step away from pixel-based work to focus on honing her writing and research skills. Meeting a new group of people and experiencing life on the East coast is an added bonus.
