Shani Rodan – SVA MA Design Research

Shani Rodan is a textile designer from Tel Aviv, Israel. She comes to SVA from Golf&co, a well-known retail homeware brand in Israel where she has been working as a designer and buyer of home decor products since 2015.

She holds a Bachelor of Textile Design from Shenkar College in Israel. For her final project, Shani created a collection of homeware textiles influenced by her exploration of modern urban structures and interior space aesthetics. She worked in the Design Museum Holon as an exhibition instructor in the education department where she created educational programs, built concept tours, and guided groups and individuals.

In returning to her studies, Shani wants to open her mind, increase her knowledge base, and share her point of view with others in order to develop strategies and ideas that will make the world a better place through design.

Some of her other interests include yoga, baking, and traveling the world.
