Tara Gupta Dabir – SVA MA Design Research
Tara Gupta Dabir is a Brooklyn based writer and graphic designer who advocates for design’s capacity to improve lives, facilitate meaningful change and engage new audiences.She currently manages and implements strategic new business/communication initiatives with Futurebrand. Prior to Futurebrand, Tara worked with award-winning consultancies, publications, and authors including: Smart Design, Carbone Smolan Agency, Print Magazine, Steven Heller on 100 Classic Graphic Design Journals as well as Susan Grant Lewin Associates. Tara completed her BFA at VCU’s School of Graphic Design and MFA at SVA’s Design Research & Criticism program. Her graduate thesis examines the intersection of fitness culture and design. In addition to voraciously reading, she is partial to puns and clean typography.
