Venu Sri Sabbavarapu – SVA MA Design Research

Venu Sri Sabbavarapu is a multidisciplinary designer, book artist, and printmaker (screen printing and paper lithography). Her master’s thesis focused on the romance of storytelling in the form of the book, where she combined physical computing, smart inks, printmaking and writing, to create experimental and responsive books.

Heading the design department at an e-commerce startup, she designs and develops for the web, mobile, print, and sometimes mixes all of these media together to prototype thoughts and ideas.

She is currently documenting experimental media arts and visual design events from around the world, and wishes to provide a go-to resource for those interested in the field.
