Jennifer Kabat – SVA MA Design Research

A recent finalist for Notting Hill Editions’ Essay Prize, Jennifer Kabat is working on a book called Growing Up Modern, exploring art, ideology and the landscape. She writes often for The Believer, BOMB and Frieze, and is a contributing editor at Metropolis. Her essay “The Rainmaker’s Flood” will soon be published by Harper’s, and her essay “The Light of God” on drones and the American landscape tradition is forthcoming in the LARB. One of the co-founders of the site The Weeklings, she’s been awarded a Creative Capital/Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant for her criticism and teaches at PAFA and NYU.
