devoted to the study of design, its contexts & consequences.
Our graduates have gone on to pursue research-related careers in publishing, education, museums, institutes, design practice, entrepreneurship, & more.3

Inaugural Ralph Caplan Lecture with keynote by Eva Hagberg

Join us for a program of presentations in memory of DCrit faculty member Ralph Caplan (1925-2020), including a keynote lecture by writer and design historian Eva Hagberg, followed by a reception 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the theater lobby.

Hosted by SVA MA Design Research, Writing & Criticism and the Museum of 21st Century Design.
