Bailey Miller – SVA MA Design Research

Bailey Miller studies the intersections between migration and labor, and she is interested in incorporating design research into her political criticism. As a student of political science, she wants to use research and writing to explore design’s role in spaces of social organization, such as the city and the refugee camp. She is excited to pursue a Masters of Migration Studies at SOAS University in London, where she will incorporate design-research into the radical urban anthropology she will be conducting for her dissertation. Bailey is thrilled to immerse herself in the community at SVA, where she can explore design’s role in creating new visions for the future, and provoking action in the present day.
