Joseph F. Nally – SVA MA Design Research

Joseph Nally is a musician, podcaster, blogger, and tabletop gaming expert. Nally has been playing tabletop games for over a decade and has a collection of over 300 games. Joseph Nally wrote his thesis, “Post Elegance: Experimental Aesthetics in Tabletop Game Design” as an attempt to criticize the popular Eurogame genre and advocate for avant-garde game designs, building on his previous work, Ludism: Boards Games That Will Get You High, currently available on for purchase.
