Cultivating her practice as a response to human experience, Stacey deeply believes in architecture’s ability to shape community. In 2015 Stacey focused her practice with Mahlum, seeking work to serve the many rather than the individual. She aspires to co-design educational spaces which consistently express the culture, aspirations, and identity of the communities she partners with, knitting together the poetics of design with the technicalities of construction and human behavior,
Practicing at the intersection of architecture and interiors, Stacey brings a unique perspective and expertise to the design of educational facilities. She is a bridge between disciplines and leverages her educational background in both domains to advocate for stronger ties between not only architects and interior designers, but also the public and design communities. She remains committed to leading the conversation reshaping public perception of the interior design community.
