devoted to the study of design, its contexts & consequences.
Our graduates have gone on to pursue research-related careers in publishing, education, museums, institutes, design practice, entrepreneurship, & more.3

Alex Klimoski – SVA MA Design Research

Alex Klimoski is associate editor at Architectural Record magazine. She received a bachelor’s degree in design from Cornell University. Prior to joining D-Crit, she worked in marketing and communications for Dattner Architects. She was a 2016 SVA Research and Writing fellow at the Van Alen Institute. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, CityLab, and the Architect’s Newspaper.
