With an expansive multidisciplinary background encompassing design, education, writing and the arts, Anna enjoys collaborating with people across all disciplines. Her belief in the sharing of ideas and an empathetic people-focused approach to business has driven her professional career – from her work as a creative recruiter, educator, international lecturer and conference coordinator.
Anna Kealey was born in Dublin, Ireland and currently resides in London. There she manages the Creative Opportunities department and Graduate Internship Scheme at the University of the Arts, London. Each year, she teaches a week-long seminar about the relationship between design and food at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Italy. She is also a regular contributor to EYE magazine.
During her 4 years in New York, Anna works as a creative recruiter at the executive recruitment agency Wert & Co. and as a conference assistant for the AIGA helping to organize Pivot: AIGA National Design Conference.. She also worked as a research assistant for Steven Heller for his publication ‘100 Graphic Design Magazines’.
She won the Design History Society Prize for her undergraduate thesis Innovation and Exploitation: a Critique of American Apparel.
