Candice Ng – SVA MA Design Research

Candice Ng is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Art Design and Media, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. A Malaysian artist, educator and researcher currently based in Singapore, her practice concerns issues of critical inquiry within design, the visual arts and pedagogy in examining notions of norms, values and belief systems in contemporary society. Teaching graphic design for approximately 10 years, Candice is attending the Summer Intensive hoping to undergo a process of unlearning through the discipline of writing and contemplation; and relearning new methodologies of research, thinking and criticality in developing agility and adaptability within design’s changing constant.
