Chrissie Muhr – SVA MA Design Research

Chrissie studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart. She has worked on a wide range of projects for practices such as IGMA University of Stuttgart, Arch+ Magazine, the architect Arno Brandlhuber+, and Walther Koenig Publishers.

Her approach reflects her transdisciplinary definition of architecture: a continuous research process, exploring and negotiating architecture, design and art through content and form. In 2014 she joined Vitra and is a senior researcher as a part of the Creative Team of the Chief Design Officer. She works on design research and product development, focusing on foresight topics and innovation. She led the Project Vitra exhibition at the Philadelphia Museum of Art in 2014/17 and the Vitra Typecasting exhibition at La Pelota during the 2018 Salone del Mobile.
