Clara Gross is an artist based between New York City and Berlin. Her work sits at the intersection of design, art, and culture. As an avid researcher and observer, she is drawn to interdisciplinary thinking and finding unusual connections between disparate points. Clara received her B.A. from Connecticut College as a double major in Art and Philosophy with a certificate in Museum Studies. She has worked at the Van Alen Institute in the research department and in sales and marketing for the former Brooklyn based millinery studio, Tracywatts Inc. As an artist, Clara works with sculpture, drawing, and video to explore one’s relationship to the built environment and a sense of place. She has participated in artist residencies and exhibits her work in the US and Europe. Clara is a collective member at Eyesore, a magazine working to promote diverse perspectives on the urban experience.
