Fernanda Reis – SVA MA Design Research

Fernanda Reis is a designer and creative generalist, currently living in New York. She studied architecture in Porto and Vienna, specialized in Exhibition Design, and holds an MA in Curating Contemporary Design from the Kingston School of Art in London. Since 2009, Fernanda has been practicing in Germany and Austria, where she headed the exhibition team of Selected for the Designmonat Graz and worked in a variety of cultural projects for public and private-sector clients. With a focus on architecture and practice discourse dichotomies, her writing is an attempt to critically look at the intertwining of politics, economics, technological advancements and architecture to discuss how it impacts social and cultural changes, modifying all aspects of the life of cities.
