Our graduates have gone on to pursue research-related careers in publishing, education, museums, institutes, design practice, entrepreneurship, & more.3

John Cantwell – SVA MA Design Research

John Cantwell is a design writer and editor. He was born in New Jersey, where he lives to this day. John’s most recent writing credits include articles about Donald Trump and the Dallas Cowboys for Design Observer, and on-site coverage of the 2010 Detroit Auto Show for Core77. Personal interests include transportation and interface design, urban planning, Ghostbusters, fantasy baseball, and the future. John blogs sporadically, dabbled for some time in stand-up comedy and long-form improv, and is an enthusiastic dancer.
