
Kim Burgas
Kim is a UX designer, instructor, sociologist and artist. She holds a MA in visual sociology from Goldsmiths, University of London. For the past two years, she has worked as an independent UX consultant, collaborating with teams at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, NYU, and the National Domestic Workers Alliance, among others. She previously lead design efforts at PhotoShelter as the Director of User Experience Design. When not working with clients, she teaches UX design at General Assembly and CUNY TechWorks. Kim is passionate about ethics in design, inclusive design, and the social impacts of the design of digital and ecological environments.
