Kimberlie’s writing has been featured on CNN.com and appeared in publications such as Dwell, Domus, Metropolis and Vogue. Her first book, Design for Children, published by Phaidon in 2018, is a comprehensive survey of children’s products and furniture design from Bauhaus to today. She is also a founding partner of Creative States, a platform for a community of artists, designers, thought-leaders and engaged citizens shaping futures we want to live into. Kimberlie holds a degree in art history from Brown University, a certificate in art curation from the Sotheby’s Institute, and a masters in design criticism from the School of Visual Arts, where she wrote a graduate thesis on playground design.
