Laura Scofield is a Brazilian graphic designer. She has a Master’s Degree in Design and a BFA in Graphic Design. Throughout her career, she has been investigating and believing in design as a great tool for cultural and political discussion and change. Combining practice and theory, she has also worked for more than six years at Greco Design, one of the most awarded graphic design companies in Brazil, where she has won, along with her teams, the main design awards in the world, such as D&AD, Cannes Lions, iF and Red Dot.
Her MA research in Brazil was devoted to the design of contemporary identities, more specifically in the branding of the AK-47, the most widely used assault rifle in the world.
