Luca Lotruglio – SVA MA Design Research

Luca Lotruglio is currently a rising junior at the University of Puget Sound, from Saratoga Springs, New York. He is studying International Political Economy, with minors in French and Economics, but he is highly interested in the collection of knowledge, and the subsequent effects upon its dissemination. Institutions like schools, periodicals, or art museums are what shapes the beliefs of a society, and this has been highly influential for him. Wanting to add to this architecture of knowledge, he has worked on newsletters, art publications, event organizing, and curating. He is currently an intern at the American Folk Art Museum, researching 20th and 21st century Art Brut.
