devoted to the study of design, its contexts & consequences.
Our graduates have gone on to pursue research-related careers in publishing, education, museums, institutes, design practice, entrepreneurship, & more.3

Shani Rodan – SVA MA Design Research

Shani Rodan is a textile designer and design researcher from Tel Aviv, Israel. Prior to pursuing her Master’s at SVA, she worked as a designer and buyer for Golf&Co, and as an exhibition educator and content strategist at Design Museum Holon, where she curated cultural programs for professionals and groups. During her time at SVA, she explored human interaction in physical spaces through the lens of design, and she was a co-managing editor of NYCxDESIGN blog, where she interviewed designers and design practitioners who work in New York City.

She is yoga addict, pottery maker, and travel lover.
