Sneha Mehta is a graphic designer from Mumbai, India. She is interested in exploring how design can reenforce connections between cities and people, and in tracing the visual mother tongues of places. Her work in this space includes the redesign of the Mumbai Film Festival’s brand identity, a design and research project about Mumbai’s Art Deco architecture heritage, and researching the content for a map of the literary history of the city.
As a teaching assistant at Art4All, an art education studio, she worked with children as young as three and adults as old as eighty. This experience inspired her passion for creative education, and she comes to SVA to find ways to combine visuals and research to help people, especially children, learn about art and design. She is grateful every day for this opportunity.
Sneha loves to swim, scuba dive, and surf. She also enjoys almost all kinds of cake.
