
Angela Riechers
Art director, writer, and educator
Angela Riechers is a Brooklyn-based art director and writer specializing in design, media, and visual culture. Her writing appears in Print, Wallpaper, Metropolis, Design Observer, GRID, AIGA Medalists, The Atlantic online, and Design+Culture, among other places. As an art director, she has created concepts and page layouts for Harper’s Magazine, O, the Oprah Magazine, Condé Nast Portfolio, The New York Times T Magazine, and Martha Stewart. She has taught undergraduate design and architectural history courses at the School of Visual Arts, the City College of New York, and New York University, among other institutions. In 2014 she created a four-week summer intensive residency program in typography for SVA called Typography as Language: Design, History, and Practice.
